Quarter 2- Blog #10 WHAT JANIE FOUND

This week I have continued reading What Janie Found.  She did go back to the final and she let Reeve and Brian go with her. They found out that her dad had started paying for Hannah after she contacted him once getting out of jail. Then Brian and Reeve went to make ice cream sundaes and Janie went to put the file away. As she slid the file back into place she saw an address. The address was Hannah's and this discovery put a whole new twist on the story. Janie has a brother named Stephen who is going to college in Boulder, Colorado. The same place that Hannah was now living. She started to devise a plan. Janie thought that her younger brother, Brian, would want to go visit Stephen, so she could just be his chaperone and search for Hannah while she was there. Unfortunately for Janie, Brian is very smart and he saw through her lie and got her to tell him the real plan. He told Reeve who reluctantly said he would go too. Brian called Stephan and the whole trip has been organized. Stephen is excited and so is his girlfriend Kathleen, who is intrigued with Janies story. Janie wants to go to the bank to see Hannah when she picks up the money from her dad and get some answers. The trip was a few days away when i stopped reading. I am excited to read this part and see if Janie really confronts Hannah. I wonder if it will cause problems in her families. Will there be a trial or anything if Hannah is turned in? i can't wait to keep reading and find out!

Quarter 2- Blog #9 WHAT JANIE FOUND

After finishing Breaking Dawn I looked through my closet to find a new book. I decided to read What Janie Found, the fourth and final book in The Face on the Milk Carton series by Caroline B. Cooney. I have already read the other three and they are all very good and full of suspense. It is about a girl named Janie Johnson, or so she thought. She was actually Jennie spring and was abducted by Hannah Javensen when she was three. When she figures this out she asks her “parents” what was going on. They said that Hannah dropped her off asking them to care for her and said that she was her daughter, so being her parents they did. Jennie finds her family and the Johnsons, Hannah’s parents, aren’t penalized for raising her since they didn’t know. In this book Janie is back living with the Johnsons because she didn’t feel like she fit in her other, or real family. Her “dad” has a stroke, so Janie is taking care of his work for him. While going through the bills drawer, she finds a file marked H.J., Hannah Javensen, she quickly discovers that her “dad” does know where Hannah is and has been paying her bills. That’s all I know which makes the book very suspenseful so far. I hope she goes back to the file so that I can find out some more of the details! What will she do? Will she go back to her real family after finding out that possibly her whole life her “dad” had been supporting her kidnapper? It is so intriguing and I can’t wait to find out!

Quarter 2- Blog#8 BREAKING DAWN

I finally finished reading Breaking Dawn. It was amazing!! Now that I’m finished I really hope that she does write another one. Bella researches the name that Alice gave here, J. Jenks, and discovers that he is a lawyer, but then one day when she goes to see him she discovers his secret business of creating documents for people. Documents such as: passports, birth certificates and identification. Then Bella realized why Alice gave her this mans name, it was so that she could get these document for her daughter and a guardian so that she would be safe. She gets them for Renesmee and Jacob. The day of the attack is approaching and the Cullen’s have gathered all there vampire friends who after witnessing Renesmee fast growing, human characteristics, and vampire like powers are convinced she is not an illegal immortal child and agree to help. The day of the Volturi’s arrival comes and the Cullen’s and their witnesses get in positions. The Volturi appear and are ready to destroy when they see the wolves also helping. This makes them hesitate just long enough for the Cullen’s to tell their story. Edward tells it and there is no other option except for to believe him, especially when Aro, the leader, lets Renesmee touch him and use her power to show him the past. The vampire who told the Volturi about Renesmee is killed, but everyone else gets to go on and liver their happy ever after ending, for now. I really want Stephenie Meyer to write another one about their life when Renesmee is older! Hopefully she changes her mind about stopping the series and writes it! I loved this book so much and recommend it to everyone!
